
Peach Gum is a reddish-brown or yellow-brown jelly-like substance secreted from the bark of peach trees. It can be processed for dessert preparation or used in traditional Chinese medicine.
In a broad sense, the jelly secreted by Rosaceae plants such as apricot trees and cherry trees can also be called peach gum. Peel off these secretions from the bark and dry them to get the original peach gum. Peach Gum is also known as Peach Blossom Tears(桃花泪)in China.
